Chief Software Engineer
Matt Freece serves as a Chief Software Engineer at FLX, guiding a growing software development team through re-architecture and DevSecOps “best practice” initiatives in an effort to grow existing AI/ML R&D pedigree systems into first-class enterprise services.
Matt has over 10 years of experience executing the development of complex and performant distributed processing systems. He has guided development teams through the entire software development life-cycle (from requirements management to delivery and maintenance) of numerous systems operationally fielded today.
Matt’s focus area the last several years has been enabling development teams to stand up continuous integration and delivery pipelines to get valuable feedback from operational users and foster an environment where high quality software can be released on a more frequent basis.
Matt earned his Masters in Business from the University of Florida in 2011. Prior to that, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Park University in 2006.
