The Rochester Data Science Consortium is traveling to Long Beach, CA to participate in the 2019 Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR) Conference. From June 16th – June 20th, over 6,500 attendees will gather in California to take part in this premier annual computer vision event.

Scientists from the Rochester Data Science Consortium will be presenting original research at the 2019 CVPR conference, attending tutorials, workshops, and networking with other scientists in the Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition fields.

Plus, the Rochester Data Science Consortium will have it’s own table at the 2019 CVPR Expo! Stop by BOOTH #1849 from Tuesday, June 18th – Thursday, June 20th to meet our scientists, learn more about the work we do, or simply say ‘hi’!

Dr. Edgar Bernal will be presenting three papers at the 2019 CVPR Conference:

  • T. Wang, Y. Gu, X. Zhao, D. Mehta, E. Bernal.  Improving the Sensitivity of Neural Networks to Adversarial Attacks, in Proc. 2019 IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Workshops (CVPRW).
  • E. Bernal.  Surrogate Contrastive Network for Supervised Band Selection in Multispectral Computer Vision Tasks, in Proc. 2019 IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Workshops (CVPRW).
  • K. G. Lore, K. Reddy, M. Giering, E. Bernal. Generative Adversarial Networks for Spectral Super-resolution and bidirectional RGB-to-multispectral mapping, in Proc. 2019 IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Workshops (CVPRW).

Dr. Lei Lin will be presenting one paper at the 2019 CVPR Conference:

  • L. Lin, B. Xu, W. Wu, T. Richardson, E. Bernal. Medical Time Series Classification with Hierarchical Attention-based Temporal Convolutional Networks: A Case Study of Myotonic Dystrophy Diagnosis., in Proc. 2019 IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Workshops (CVPRW).

The 2019 Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR) Conference is the premier annual computer vision event. With its high quality and low cost, it provides an exceptional value for students, academics and industry researchers.
