The Rochester Data Science Consortium hosted its first annual Open House on November 18th at its Sibley office, located in downtown Rochester. Over 50 RDSC members, staff, and friends attended the event to connect with one another, face-to-face, to learn more about each other’s work, and discover new opportunities for collaboration.
The event kicked-off with a RDSC Poster session, featuring RDSC scientists presenting on their latest research and member-led projects. Following the open poster session, attendees were formally welcomed by Walter Johnson, RDSC Executive Director. The event concluded with a happy hour where guests socialized and discussed the role data science plays in their businesses and in their lives.
